Dear HOPE Friends,
HOPE - in collaboration with our long-time trusted donor, HCI - distributed 400 iftar boxes in Ghaggar to the underserved population.
Ghaggar is a rural area about 25 miles from Karachi, Pakistan, on the road to Thatta. Because of the yearly flooding cycle, Ghaggar remains impoverished and prone to water-borne diseases such as malaria and typhoid. The constituents are largely underserved and in need of basic facilities. HOPE currently operates a school and vocational center in Ghaggar to help uplift this population from poverty.
Thank you to all of our donors for supporting us to reach these deserving people. We will continue distributing iftars until the end of Ramadan.
