Dear HOPE Friends,
We are pleased to report that Ramadan 2021 was the most successful fundraising month in history for both HOPE USA and HOPE UK! As always, gratitude for these successes goes to Allah SWT and special thanks goes to our dedicated donors whose trust in us and generosity towards those less fortunate makes this possible. As the years progress, we will strive to reach even more deserving people and make a tangible impact upon ending poverty in Pakistan.
As an organization HOPE conducts special activities in Ramadan to honor and reach out to the poor - these include Door-to-Door Iftar Distributions (Zakat), Sit-down Iftars (Sadaqa), Food Ration Distributions (Zakat), and Eid Clothes Distributions (Zakat). Surplus Zakat and Sadaqa funds we collect are allocated appropriately to fund our year-round centers and programs for the poor including Hospitals, Schools, Vocational Centers, Aqua Project, and Disaster Relief.
Our Ramadan 2021 Accomplishments are as follows: Door-to-Door Iftar Distributions: 7,700 Iftars Distributed
Sit-down Iftars: 1,030 Iftars Distributed
Food Ration Distributions: 2,100 Ration Bags Distributed
Eid Clothes Distributions: 2,000 Outfits Distributed
TOTAL BENEFICIARIES in RAMADAN 2021: 27,530
Areas of Impact Within Pakistan: Karachi (urban slums within), Thatta, Muzaffargarh (Punjab), Azad Kashmir Once again, we would like to congratulate and thank each and every one of you for your support and for making these milestones possible and we look forward to sharing more successes with you in the future.
