And We're Off 🚛! Door-to-Door Iftar 🍛- 200 Needy People Served/Day - HOPE Launches 2025 Meal Distributions in Zia Colony, Karachi 🌆
Concurrent with the first day of Ramadan ☪️ in Pakistan 🇵🇰, the HOPE Field Team debuted our 2025 Door-to-Door Iftar campaign in Zia Colony, Karachi by distributing biryani 🍛 to 200 needy people.
Our goal this month is to distribute warm meals 🍛 to 200 people per day, and during the last ten days of this blessed month of Ramadan ☪️, we will be doubling our efforts to combat food insecurity by providing meals to at least 400 people daily.
In total, we aim to reach 10,000 people via Door-to-Door Iftars 🍛 during 2025 Ramadan ☪️.
Zia Colony is a urban slum community within Karachi, Pakistan 🇵🇰 which has been steeped in poverty for decades. HOPE has a prominent presence in Zia Colony via the establishment of a Hospital 🏥, Formal School 🏫, Maternal and Child Health Center 👩🏻🍼, and Vocational Center 🧵, all facilities providing services to the needy for free/nominal cost.
As is our tradition, in Ramadan ☪️, we accelerate our efforts to reach the underserved:
