HOPE On-Ground Team Ends 2023 ๐Ÿ and Kicks off ๐Ÿš€ 2024 in Kashmir ๐Ÿ”๏ธ & KPK ๐Ÿ›–

Dear HOPE Friends,

HOPE On-Ground Team Ends 2023 ๐Ÿ and Kicks off ๐Ÿš€ 2024 in Kashmir ๐Ÿ”๏ธ & KPK ๐Ÿ›–:

3,000+ Underserved Women ๐Ÿง•๐Ÿปand Children ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿป Receive Food ๐Ÿฅ˜, Medical Aid ๐Ÿฉบ, Winter Gear ๐Ÿงฅ, School Supplies ๐ŸŽ’, Blankets

The On-Ground HOPE Team wrapped up 2023 with a fruitful trip to oversee our Health ๐Ÿฅ, Education ๐Ÿซ, and Vocational Training ๐Ÿงตfacilities in the Northern Areas of Pakistan ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ, namely Azad Kashmir ๐Ÿ”๏ธ and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ๐Ÿ›–.

Over 3,000 Underserved Women ๐Ÿง•๐Ÿป and Children ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿป Received Biryani ๐Ÿฅ˜, Warm Clothing ๐Ÿงฅ, Blankets ๐Ÿ›Œ๐Ÿป , Medical Aid ๐Ÿฉบ, Vocational Training ๐Ÿงต, and Participated in Community-Building Exercises such as School Ceremonies ๐ŸŽ“.

This trip was quite extensive in nature and covered a wide geographical scope ๐ŸŒ which encompasses our recently-expanded network to serve the poor.

Currently, HOPE's Framework for Poverty Alleviation in the Northern Areas ๐Ÿ”๏ธof Pakistan ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ Includes:

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ 35 Home Schools ๐Ÿ“šserving 2,000 Students ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐ŸŽ“, 80% of whom are underprivileged girls

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ 5 Maternal ๐Ÿง•๐Ÿป& Child ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿป Health Centers ๐Ÿฅ (all equipped to handle births) which serve a total of 90,000 Villagers ๐Ÿ›– annually

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ 2 Vocational Training Centers (set up within MCHC grounds) which provide income-generating skills ๐Ÿงตto 500 Women annually

The HOPE Team met with and interacted ๐Ÿค๐Ÿผ with thousands of members of the communities from Mansehra, KPK to Azad Kashmir ๐Ÿ”๏ธ.

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ Children ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿป performed for the community on stage, were gifted new backpacks ๐ŸŽ’ and school supplies ๐Ÿ“, and received accolades ๐Ÿ† for their accomplishments.

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ Warm winter gear ๐Ÿงฅ, food ๐Ÿฅ˜, and blankets ๐Ÿ›Œ๐Ÿป were distributed to villagers ๐Ÿ›–.

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ Young adults in our Vocational Centers were lauded ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ for their hard work ๐Ÿงถ and the skills they had acquired.

Our new Medical Facilities ๐Ÿฅin KPK ๐Ÿ›–which are sponsored by Yusuf Foundation (Garhi Habibullah and Mansehra) were visited by Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla, along with our Azad Kashmir ๐Ÿ”๏ธ MCHC (sponsored by Darul Sadaqa and private donors). During this visit particularly, the HOPE Team witnessed firsthand the positive impact ๐Ÿ“ˆ these facilities are having upon the surrounding communities, and especially the life-saving โ›‘๏ธ role they have taken on:

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ These communities were in such dire need of access to affordable and quality medical care that these MCHCs are becoming larger than life and taking on an even greater role to the communities than we ever anticipated.

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ The mere presence of a medical facility in these areas has given hope to thousands of villagers who could not access healthcare due to cost and/or distance.

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ In this visit, we equipped all MCHCs with infant warmers and ultrasound machines to meet the needs of villagers.

ย ย ย ย ย ๐Ÿ”ถ With funding, we are also seeking to furnish each with incubators to handle complex cases.

Overall, we are thrilled to report that due to the generosity ๐ŸŒนof our supporters and organizations such as Yusuf Foundation and Darul Sadaqa786, we are seeing precious lives saved in our medical clinics ๐Ÿฅ and children flourishing in our schools ๐Ÿซ. This trip proved to be so eventful in nature that we will be featuring a couple of stories in the near future about the tangible impact that has been through the generosity of our donors ๐Ÿ’.

Warm Regards,

The HOPE UK ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง, HOPE USAย ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ,ย HOPE Pakistan ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ Teams
