🕋  Make the Most of the Day of 'Arafah - The Best Day of the Entire Year 💝

This year, the Day of ’Arafah begins at sunset (Maghrib) on June 4, 2025 and ends at sunset (Maghrib) on June 5, 2025.

Just as Laylatul Qadr is the Best Night of the Year, the Day of ‘Arafah is the Best Day of the Entire Year.

✅  Here’s how to make the most of the Day of ‘Arafah:

    🔹 Fast: Fasting on the Day of Arafat is a confirmed Sunnah for those not performing Hajj.  “Fasting on the day of Arafah is an expiation for the preceding year and the following year.”  [Muslim] 🚫

    🔸 Make Dua: "There is no day on which Allah ﷻ frees people from the Fire more so than on the Day of ‘Arafah."  (Muslim) 🤲🏻

    🔹 Give Charity: "The Believer's shade on the Day of Judgement will be his charity." (Al-Tirmidhi) ❤️‍🩹

    🔸 Recite Zhikr: Recite Tasbeeh (SubhanAllah), Tahmeed (Alhumdolillah), Tahleel (La illaha illa-llah), Takbeer (Allahu Akbar), and SubhanAllahi wa bi hamdihi, SubhanAllahi-l ’adheem. 📿

    🔹 Read Quran: “Read the Qur’aan, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection interceding for its companions.  (Muslim) 📖

    🔸 Revive a Sunnah - Perform an Extra Qurbani: Follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ who used to perform an extra sacrifice on behalf of his Ummah. 🐄🐐

🕋  During Hajj season, it is highly recommended to perform Qurbani for every member of your household who has reached the age of puberty.

💝  It is best to distribute the Qurbani meat as follows: 1/3 for yourself and your immediate family, 1/3 to family and friends, and 1/3 to the poor.
